MISURACA AW 2010-11 features men-cut garments, soft yet never “over” lines, straight silhouettes, close to stiletto-shape.Black dominates, and it comes with moka, sienna, vanilla, grey and turtle-dove colours. The collection is supposed to be an imaginary travel that starts from Viennese romanticism of the early ‘900s, and that ends in a contemporary Istanbul. Caftan dresses, dandy’s juxtapositions, soldier-style cloaks, kimono jackets, small boleros worn as cache-coeurs, and piped edges’ pants.
Classic and precious fabrics, printed with equestrian designs are mixed with casual fabrics – such as the washed cashmere, doubled with neoprene for experiencing new functionalities – and sewn with the more advanced techniques of the Made in Italy manufacturing.
