Gianfranco Fenizia architect, Neapolitan, works in Milan.He studied architecture at the IUAV in Venice graduating with a thesis in urban planning. While still a university student, he entered the world of fashion, designing merchandising displays for the boutiques Fendi and Mila Shön.
In the subsequent years continuing with store and window displays, he became one of Italy's most successful in his field, working for renown brands as Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana, and in Paris from 1995 until 1998 for Kenzo.
He has also collaborated as art director with the architecture studio David Chipperfield for the showroom Pasquale Bruni in Via Manzoni Milan.
As a designer, Fenizia designed and manufactured collections of furniture and home accessories that have met with considerable success and featured in the major industry publications as: Elle Decor Italy, Elle Decoration UK, Interior Design, AD, SpazioCasa, Marie Claire, Fashion, House Space and in published books 'Le Signore della Moda' Edizioni Archivolto 1992 and 'Vetrine a Milano' Edizioni Archivolto 1995.
In 2004 Fenizia became business partner with the clothing designer Albino D'Amato launching the internationally successful brand Albino.
As clothing designer, he collaborated in it's conception and idealization the brand Carta e Costura which participated in Vogue Italia's 'Who is On Next?' In 2007.
Subsequently, Gianfranco has continued in various collaborations as a skilled trend setter and art director, including the 2008/2009 seasons with the ready to wear line of Capucci.
